So I’ve basically been doing design for about 4 years+ mostly as a graphics designer in advertising agencies, and at some point it all got very tiring and boring. I decided to leave because I felt like advertising was no longer for me.

Because I’m always in a quest to improve myself and become better, I searched out other design fields and discovered the design of experiences and interfaces.

I had designed some interfaces for the agency clients but never focused on it primarily. So I read more, researched and started taking courses on it. At some point, I felt I didn’t just want to be learning and learning without practicing. So I applied for the HNG internship, which exposed me to working in a team, and different design professionals.

I joined WeJapa because I want to apply all I’ve learned and practiced in real world scenarios and jobs, to increase proficiency and for UIUX design to start bringing me some income.
